Traveling to Venezuela

Traveling to a foreign country can be very exciting. Experiencing the change in culture and different foods and celebrations can open your mind to many new things. Aside from the culture there is usually an array of different sites to visit that are completely unique to the country. Visiting another country is a great way to make fantastic memories.

Venezuela is a great place to visit. The majority of people there survive on a middle income economy and the country strives off of its oil industry. There are many tourist services that vary in quality depending on where they are and how much you are willing to pay. One place that is worth visiting while in Venezuela is Angel Falls. This tourist attraction is one of the largest in Venezuela as it is the world’s largest waterfall.

Venezuela also holds the second largest river in South America called the Orinoco. The primary language in Venezuela is Spanish and the money used is called Bolivar fuerte. When traveling you do not need to worry about an outlet adapter as they will be the same as the United States. You do need to bring a passport and a color copy of your passport in case your original is stolen or lost. It is imperative that you carry your passport with you if you plan on traveling around Venezuela as there are multiple military checkpoints. Safety can be a huge concern when you are in a foreign country and Venezuela is no different. If anything extra caution should be taken due to the country’s political unrest and drug corruption.

While it is exciting and enlightening to travel to other countries, extreme caution should be used. It is wonderful to see new sites and meet new people and see new ways of doing things. But these good memories may turn into bad ones quickly if you are not on your guard. The best thing to do is be prepared and have a good time.

The Southwest RV Style

Whether you are a retired couple starting a new life on the road, or are a new RVer wanting to take your family on summer vacation, the Southwest United States may be the best destination for you. It has many activities and wonderful new adventures that are waiting for you.

Most people see the desert as a barren, dry, and hot place. The RVer sees the desert as a place of solitude, beauty, and one that is full of scenery that will burn images of nature in your memory forever. In places such as Quartzsite, Arizona, you may be fascinated by a 300 year old saguaro cactus with 47 arms. Or you could enjoy the miles and miles of wildflowers that grow all throughout the Southwest. Rock hounding and prospecting has become a very popular activity for the RVer, and there is no better place to do it than in the Southwest.

Colorado has plenty of activities for the RVer. Throughout the state you can find a variety of RV parks located near state parks and museums. Ancestral Puebloan dwellings are very popular with tourists. Or perhaps a stop by Anheuser-Busch, the home of Budweiser beer, might be a place you would like to visit.

When visiting the Southwest, don't forget about Texas, Nevada, California, Utah, and New Mexico. In each of these states, the RVer will find more than enough fun and activities for young and old. The Southwest is filled with RV parks with the basic amenities that range from championship golf courses to spas. Load up the RV, grab you maps and hit the open road.

Let’s Go RVing

RVing across the US can be very exciting and thrilling. But it can be somewhat scary at the same time. Some people sell their houses or give up their apartments to buy or rent an RV to travel the US. The exciting part is being able to travel all over the US. You can rent an RV or buy an RV. There are all different kinds of RV’s to choose from.

When traveling across the US, you can enjoy the scenery while driving, and enjoy what each state has to offer. You can visit national parks, state parks, historic sites, and campgrounds. You can go hiking, bike riding, mountain biking, fishing, and rafting. You can create an itinerary and map out all your stops and mileage for each trip.

Another thing you can do is use pushpins to link each stop you been to on a map of the United States. You can create different activities at each RV rest stop or camp area. Keep a diary of what you have done at each of these stops. Take many photos and videos of the various places you have visited, and make a scrapbook of each trip you take.

RVing is a great way to see the wonderful country of the United States, and it is a good way to meet new people. You can travel with your family, friends or even with your new friends that you met during a previous RV trip. Traveling by RV guarantees the trip of a lifetime.

Wyoming State and National Parks

Wyoming is the very essence of the Wild West. The 10th largest state in size, Wyoming also has the smallest population, giving it wide expanses of land with not a person in sight. The western side of the state is taken up largely by the Rocky Mountains, while the eastern side of the state is made up mostly of high altitude prairie lands known as the High Plains. Wyoming is a beautiful, expansive state with Federal and State parks, national monuments, recreational areas, and many historical trails and sites.

The two largest parks in Wyoming are the Grand Teton National Park in northwestern Wyoming, and Yellowstone National Park, which also extends into Montana and Idaho. Grand Teton National Park covers 484 square miles of land and water, and offers almost 200 miles of amazing hiking trails. Black bears, moose, elk, wolves, and coyote are common in the Park. Yellowstone is famous for its many geothermal features, including the Old Faithful Geyser. Yellowstone spans over 3,450 square miles and sits atop the largest super volcano on the planet. Hiking, camping, boating, fishing and sightseeing are all abundant in Yellowstone National Park.

Wyoming boasts many beautiful state parks with hiking, fishing, and boating. Hot Springs State Park offers visitors an opportunity to hike around and swim in the world’s largest single mineral hot spring. While the water pours out at a constant 135 degrees Fahrenheit, it is channeled into pools to be cooled and pumped into public bathhouses. Wyoming Territorial Prison State Park offers a glimpse into Wyoming’s colorful western history. Wyoming has something to offer every visitor, regardless of what their interests are.
