Beautiful Washington State Parks

The picturesque views that make up over 50 state parks in Washington are a beautiful vacation choice for the entire family. Some of these parks offer on-site lodging such as camping, RV Parks and places to set up an outdoor camp. The view of the mountains and all of the tall trees and rocks that surround the parks are reason enough to plan the next family vacation here.

Any of the state parks people choose to enjoy have a $5.00 parking permit that covers the entire day. Anderson Lake State Park is a wonderful choice with many acres of wetlands and wooded areas. This is a beautiful choice to enjoy the entire day exploring the wonders of Mother Nature. This park is especially good for those who enjoy launching a boat and taking part in a daytime fishing adventure. Anderson is located in Port Townsend, Washington, and there is an old Victorian House on the grounds that has lodging accommodations for those who'd like to spend a couple of nights.

People that are searching for a state park that offers camping on the grounds should consider the beautiful Old Fort Townsend State Park. This state park accommodates people who want to spend some time doing some outdoor camping and other outdoor activities. The park has over 300 acres of wooded areas that used to be used back in the pioneer days, so it does have unique history. People who just want to camp without any utilities are charged about a $15.00 fee. Most parks charge $25.00 for a spot that has utility hook-ups.
