Utah's State Parks

Utah has some spectacular state parks that every person should take time to see. The beauty and the incredible scenery that you will see in Utah's parks will amaze you. There are many wonderful state parks in Utah. Here are a few of the most popular.

Arches National Park, located in the Moab region, has over 2,000 sandstone arches. These incredible arches expand for over 120 square miles. There is great hiking, biking, climbing, and camping along with many other wonderful outdoor activities that you can enjoy.

Zion National Park is actually the oldest of Utah's national parks and the most visited each year. It is not lacking in beauty or things to do. The park has many spectacular canyons. The canyon walls are made from a variety of sandstone, so bright shades of red and orange are displayed on the rock walls. Many visitors come to hike these famous canyons, which sometimes includes hiking through a good amount of water. There is also camping, biking, horseback riding, climbing, and many other fun things to do.

Bryce Canyon, also located in southern Utah, is a sight for all to see. Here you will see incredible colorful sandstone spires that reach up to the heavens. These spires were developed over time by wind and erosion to display an amazing view wherever you may be standing. Here as much as the other parks you will find plenty of hiking, biking, climbing, and horseback riding to keep you busy for days.
