The KOA campgrounds, if you are traveling I-40 thru the state of Arizona, have some nice RV parks that are very modestly priced. If you are traveling west to east on I-40, they have parks in Kingman, Seligman, Williams, Flagstaff and Holbrook. All of these RV parks are open year round and most offer free wireless internet service. Most of these parks also have pools for the kids and are not far from some of the most wonderful attractions in the state of Arizona, like the Grand Canyon Railroad in Williams, historic route 66 in Seligman, and the Petrified Forest outside of Holbrook. This is a great way to see Arizona.
If an RV resort is more your cup of tea, there are some quality ones across the United States. One example is the Hungry Jack Lodge in Minnesota, which has full lodge facilities, a very nice dinning room, fishing guide services, hot showers, swimming pool and full access to boat and canoe retails.
If you are more into mountain RV parks, Jackson Rancheria RV park is just outside of Jackson, California in the Sierra Foothills. This area was part of the California gold rush in the 1800s and is a great place to take the family.
