Going Going Gone By Way Of RV

When going out in your RV on that trip the whole family wants and needs to take, there are many places to stop along the way. You could start with the Gulf Breeze RV Resort located in Gulf Shores, Alabama on the Gulf of Mexico. They have hookups for just about everything, including electric, water, sewer, cable television, and the telephone. They even have wireless internet available. Waterfront access, pull-thru sites, big rig access, shade trees, indoor and outdoor pools, and tennis courts are just some of the oodles of attractions for you and your family to enjoy.

Arizona has multiple RV parks. One of these is Railside RV Ranch, located at the base of Bill Williams Mountain. They offer hookups for all of your needs and even offer free wireless internet. They have no pool or waterfront access, however there is a train to the Grand Canyon. The RV Park is within walking distance from town and they provide a complimentary breakfast and shuttle bus.

On to California! They have plenty to choose from when it comes to RV parks. There is one that is located in Chowchilla, CA called The Lakes RV and Golf Resort. Offering 75 sites that have pull-thru sites, big rig access, pool, pets allowed, golf course is within walking distance from the RV Park and has a restaurant in the club house. It is also family friendly! Hookups are offered for everything except modems. They are close to Highway 99, which allows for easy driving to the San Francisco Bay area, Napa wine country, Yosemite National Park and many other locations for site seeing.

When venturing out into the great United States, there are things we need to have or remember in order to experience that vacation of a lifetime. First, be sure to pick up a KOA or other campsite map for the route you will be taking. Secondly, most campsites close between 5pm and 7pm. Be sure to plan ahead and make those reservations, campsites fill up so it might be harder to get a place. Fourth, have your flashlight ready on hand so if it is dark when you arrive, you will be able to find the electrical box in order to hook up. Last but not least, whether renting or if it is your very own, read the manuals take a class if necessary. Have fun!
